Hyatt House Fishkill/Poughkeepsie

This is absolutely a must stay hotel! The manager and staff went out of their way to accommodate me and my family! What a wonderful place!

Was such a lovely few nights away. 4th floor was recently renovated so it was a lovely surprise. Reception team was lovely and also the bar man. Breakfast was great! Just wish the pool area was a little warmer!

The staff was so friendly. They made fresh popcorn and had cookies in the lobby and told my kids they would call them when they put it all out. They are renovating, and the rooms are beautiful but there is no place at all to put your clothes. The room was super clean. The temperature was the way I like it. But it would be nice to have a place to put clothes and a spot in the bathroom to put things. Like I didnt know extra toilet paper was in the closet. My kids enjoyed the pool and I the hot tub. But the temperature of the room the pool was in was cold. Cold air was blowing out the vents in the middle of winter. They have a nice breakfast. Plenty of seating. They have a bar. And some bar food. But it would of been nice to have a full service restaurant. Or just more options on the menu. Maybe more then 1 fryer so the guy can make fries and chicken fingers at the same time. But there's many places to eat or order from in walking distance. I cant say enough how amazing all the staff was.

Freezing conditions and extreme staff misconduct I am writing this to warn others about my recent experience at this location. It was 7 degrees outside, and the interior of the hotel—specifically the cafe area—was like an ice box. It was far too cold to even enjoy breakfast comfortably. However, the physical environment was nothing compared to the treatment I received from the staff. When I brought my concerns about the temperature to the front desk, the employees began laughing at me and calling names. Specifically: * The wide hip lady" behind the desk was extremely hostile and unprofessional. * A young employee named Kyra was equally rude and participated in the harassment. I have never been so disrespected at a place of business. To be met with name calling and mockery when reporting a legitimate facility issue is disgusting. I will never host another event here, and I strongly advise everyone to stay away from this establishment until management addresses the poor leadership within their front desk team.

We had a really great stay. Everything went smoothly. The hotel staff were all very friendly and helpful, especially the team at the front desk during check-in. Our room was clean and comfortable, and we didn’t run into any issues at all. The pool was nice, though I do wish it opened a little earlier in the morning (9am instead of 10am). That said, it still worked out fine for us. Breakfast offered a good variety and was always well stocked. Overall, we were very pleased with our experience. If we find ourselves back in the area, we’d happily stay here again.

The location was tricky in the dark but we made it. Our room was actually 3 rooms plus bathrooms. Two bathrooms. Amazing accommodations. Breakfast was ok. Honestly if our last hotel breakfast hadn't been as magnificent as it was, breakfast would have seemed better. But there were a few complaints from my children as to the texture of the pancakes and syrup. I had the eggs and some cereal and it was fine. The eggs were salty but very tasty. We needed a room that accommodated 6 and this fit the bill fantastically. The pool looked nice, whirlpool was closed. We didn't swim because we were just passing through. The view from the room is spectacular.

Overall had a great stay. Complimentary breakfast, clean rooms, and kind staff. Gym, and pool available. The only downside was that the beds in room 312 were a bit sunken in. Like, not firm.

This Hyatt House was a great location for our itinerary in New York. John and Joni were very friendly and a delight to interact with. We received a welcome gift upon arrival and they were attentive to our needs.
